Phoutmala Soubin

Phoutmala started at DDD as a data entry operator in August 2004. Her hard work and dedication led her to promotion to the role of Team Leader, and then again to her current position as Project Coordinator.

I was born in April 1986 in Phiawat village. There are five people in my family; my father is a worker in the factory but my mother is house wife, I have one older brother and one younger brother. They are factory workers as well.

When I finished high school in 2003, my father didn't want me to continue to study high level but he wanted me to work with my cousin as he wanted me to earn money and I was so frustrated when he said he did not want me to further my studies.

However, one day I think I was lucky that my friends suggested that I get training at DDD. At first, I was so scared because I had no skills; for example, my English was not good and I did not know anything about computers and I am a very shy I lack of self-confidence to share my idea but when I first heard about DDD, I was really interested to apply to join DDD training.

During I have the training that I received from DDD, It help me to change my life a lot. Also, I can see the differences before and after I have been trained. For example, before the training, I was shy and lacked of self-confidence, but now I have become confident and improved myself a lot. Again, I feel grateful to DDD for its education sponsorship program that has been supporting me. At first I was an operator and then I was promoted to be Team Leader for a year and I have learned a lot of new think and be able to manage a group of people and I have gained more experience working with people which I really like to help them grow and now I am Project Coordinator, I really proud.

Therefore, I would like to thank DDD for all the support and job opportunity I have been given, because without DDD, I just cannot imagine what my life will be. In short, I would like to use my skills gained from DDD to share with new trainees. Hopefully, DDD will stay with us forever and keep providing assistance to our next generation.
