1. We start with your content in any format. If it is currently in hardcopy, we can do high fidelity scanning from paper, hardcover or soft-cover editions. Economical approaches can be used for non-fragile books or careful approaches for fragile or rare materials.

3. Content is digitized with the highest possible accuracy at the lowest possible price by utilizing the right mix of OCR (Optical Character Recognition), automated data capture, and double-key data entry.

Double-Key Data Entry

DDD provides multilingual data entry services to meet your quality specifications for both print and web. We work in major languages including English, German, Dutch, French, and Italian. Our double-entry technique works on the principle of “key” and “verify.”  Two operators, working independently of each other, key in the exact same data. The two data sets are submitted to a “merge and compare” process. Any discrepancies are flagged for manual review against the original as part of our quality assurance process. This is how we are able to achieve accuracy rates as high as 99.995%.

Document Scanning

We offer scanning services using sophisticated image-processing software applications that can capture a wide variety of document types. Scanning solutions include photo scanning with color correction, image manipulation, and line art scanning.

OCR

This is the process of creating editable files from paper documents or pre-electronic files such as PDF. We provide complete high-capacity OCR conversion services for fast turnaround with superior accuracy rates. This enables conversion of your data into any required file format including full text searchable PDF files, HTML and XML.
